Robert McCabe's photographs, particularly those taken in Greece, have been exhibited publicly since as far back as the 1950s. Most recently his exhibitions have included:
EXHIBITION REVIEWS Paris, Mois de la Photo 2008. This exhibition of a selection of Greek photographs ran at Galerie Sit Down at 4 rue Sainte Anastase, near the Picasso Museum from November 7, 2008 through January 17, 2009. This exhibition included black and white photos primarily from the 1950s and early 1960s. McCabe's latest publication, On the Road with a Rollei in the '50s was the catalogue designed to compliment this exhibition. Queen Sofia Spanish Institute, Park Avenue, New York City
In honor of the Greek heritage of Her Majesty Queen Sofia of Spain, the Queen Sofia Spanish Institute of New York recently hosted an exhibition of nearly 70 select photographs chosen from McCabe's book, Greece: Images of an Enchanted Land, 1954-1965.Review of exhibition in honor of her Majesty Queen Sofia : Havana Photos - June-July 2007, Thessaloniki, Greece

Exhibition opened April 16 at the Eynard Mansion, 20 Aghiou Konstantinou & Menandrou Streets, Athens, Greece. Sponsored by the National Bank of Greece Cultural Foundation.Greece Photos - Summer 2006 "Santorini & The Aegean" - Santorini: An exhibition of McCabe's Greece photos entitled "Santorini and the Aegean: the Innocent Years" was held on the Greek island of Santorini from July 7 through August 25, 2006. Of the 109 black and white photographs, 48 were from his book Greece: Images of an Enchanted Land. The remainder were unpublished photographs of Santorini taken mostly in the years 1954 and 1955 before the devastating earthquake of 1956. The exhibition was sponsored by the National Bank of Greece Cultural Foundation and the Petros M. Nomikos Conference Center.
